Employer Set Projects
The purpose of the employer-set project is to ensure that students have the opportunity to apply knowledge and skills to develop a substantial piece of work in response to an employer-set brief. Employers set a project brief, specification and desired outcomes to a 'real life' problem associated to their business. Our students are then tasked to solve this problem - using practical, CAD and design skills - working with employers, teachers and their peers to put forward an engineered solution that has the potential to be commercially manufactured and adapted in industry.
