Training And Continuous Improvement

Bentley is the number one luxury car manufacturer in the world, and still growing. Investment in people and development is key to continuing this growth. The company is going through its biggest ever focus on training and development, reinforcing its commitment to establishing a strong skill base in new technical competencies. Bentley is dedicated to developing its workforce helping every colleague to be as good as they can be, ensuring that they have every possible opportunity to improve, broaden and develop their skills.

Women In STEM

Bentley was one of the founding partners of the ‘Girls Engineering the Future’ campaign, an initiative focused on engaging female high school pupils studying STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) subjects. Over the past two years, a 20 week programme was co-created and delivered by female Bentley STEM ambassadors at local schools. Initiatives like these prove vital to ensure the future attraction, engagement and recognition of women in the engineering industry.

Bentley also actively supports the development of female graduates in engineering by appointing professional mentors to guide and coach them as they work towards and achieve full chartered status of the IET and IMechE.  Mentors also provide guidance, advice and motivation for women in engineering to further their career.

Awards And Recognition

Bentley was awarded Top Employer status for the fourth consecutive year in 2015, recognised for the company’s commitment and dedication to its 3,800 Colleagues and particularly praised for its focus on talent and personal development. In addition to Top Employer, Bentley also holds Investors in People Silver status, an accreditation which is acknowledged and registered as a trademark of excellence in people management and colleague development.
