Teacher of Design & Technology / Engineering – Part time 0.5 FTE
Crewe Engineering and Design are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and inspirational specialist Teacher of DT & Engineering to join a thriving and dedicated team. The suitable candidate will either have a good track record of excellent classroom practice and sustained added value outcomes for students, or we would also welcome applications from an NQT with the potential to achieve such results within a supportive department at Crewe Engineering & Design UTC.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to teach DT & Engineering subjects across the differing ability KS4 and KS5 classes in brand new state-of-the-art facilities. We are particularly looking for a specialism in Material Science, however applications from all specialisms are welcome.
This is a part time position for Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays, fixed term until 31/08/2019.

Employer Engagement Officer
To develop and coordinate the employer engagement opportunities for our students, as well as enrichment activities that enhance their learning, professional development and personal skills and knowledge.
Work strategically to enable the employer led curriculum and projects to develop the interests of Crewe UTC and the learning programme for our students, as well as promote a positive image with employers and the wider community.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant with experience of working with children with special educational needs in either mainstream or specialist provision is essential. The successful candidate will join a strong and successful team of people fully committed to maximising every child’s potential.
The suitable candidate will have a passion for having a positive impact on the education and lives of children and place children’s health and wellbeing as a high priority. This role will involve academic and pastoral care with a learning skills focus., working on a 1-2-1 basis.
