Student Success Stories

Our hard working students have started to move on to different pathways, including further education, employment and apprenticeships in companies such as Arriva Trains Care, Unipart Rail, Bentley Motors and The Ministry of Defence.

Here are just a few of our success stories:

Year 11 students Sam and Jack will be carrying on with further education, however Amy will be moving on to an apprenticeship at Bentley Motors in their paint shop.

Amy’s mum Claire said, “Amy joined Crewe UTC in September 2016 with the hope of pursuing a career in engineering. Whilst being at the UTC she has had the opportunity to work with and gain knowledge from some of the biggest local employers within the industry, which has given Amy the confidence she needed to be able to progress. Amy has always received 100% support from all her peers and she has also formed some great friendships along the way. Having just received her outstanding GCSE results, including 2 A*’s, 6 A’s and 2 B’s, Amy can now move on to the next journey of her career as she has secured an Apprenticeship at Bentley Motors, where we hope she will continue to strive in the Engineering industry.”

Year 13 student Amy will be starting her apprenticeship at Arriva Trains Care in September and Akwandeh will be heading to the University of Hull to study Chemical Engineering.

Year 13 student Jack has started his career as an IT Consultant, Dave will be studying Business Management at Chester University, Niall is starting a Craft Engineer apprenticeship at Caterpillar and Tom will be studying Agriculture Engineering at Harper Adams University.
